Management

Park Street Early Learning is managed on a day to day basis by the Centre Director and the second in charge. They manage applications, enrolments, staffing and the implementation of policy as well as liaise with government and regulatory bodies to ensure the Centre complies with all relevant regulation and quality guidelines.

The Centre is also overseen by an elected management committee who support the Director and second in charge. The cooperative's Model Rules (constitution) and the Cooperatives Act determine the responsibilities of the committee and how it works.

The Committee is made up of up to nine representatives elected from the parents of children attending the Centre. The Centre Director and second in charge report to the committee and attend the committee's monthly meetings.

When enrolling at Park Street families are making a choice to join a parent cooperative which adheres to a belief in parent involvement and strong communities.
